吳銓高, 筆名「二覺陀」或「Charles Wu」。 廣東省高明縣男士。
台灣成功大學, 機械系[1959-1963]畢業。曾在香港『南海紗厰』當助理工程師。
其後轉職香港公務員, 現已退休。

To make sentences rhyming, I entangle my brain.
Website comments help me to improve my work again.
Good thoughts are adopted in my poems without trace.
My deep feelings can be shown like elephant footrace.
The rhythm sounds better than striking the gold and jade.
Profound classics in famous old books can be displayed.
Immortal verse will leave good name to posterity.
Money and rank cannot bring you the same eternity.

Daybreak In Spring【By Charles Wu】
Before dawn, most of the mountains are in darken.
The fishing boats drifting in river like stars twinkling.
While nearby buildings are covered in the fog thicken.
The Colorful clouds float around the sun rising.
Park was brightened in sudden by twilight's glaring.
Gulls and egrets flap their wings.
Oriole twitters, swallow sings.
Dews drop on peach blossoms, spring is cheering.

Cold Pines At Moonlight Night【By Charles Wu】
A golden sheen upon hazy mists, the winter moon shines
Whilst midnight chill seeps into the mountain pines.
Tall and silent, they stand with roots subtly entwined
On craggy rocks so ruthlessly outlined.
It is into those noble arms that soft snow fell
And how oft upon their needles so green did the cranes dwell.
Yet like writhing dragons swathed with scales
Their reach towards the sky eternally prevails.
Teasing the wind from chilly world,
Where mountain clouds gently swirled
They remain forever timeless
Regal silhouettes, ever flawless.

To Remember My Father【By Charles Wu】
Living with my father in Hong Kong, I was still a kid.
When he used a big stick to punish me, I hid.
Since the death of my mother, he harbored great sadness.
Dealing with an ignorant child who cried, he was helpless.
He always sat alone at night and sighed about the past.
He drowned his sorrows in liquor as his future could not be forecast.
I consoled him by showing filial obedience.
Never could I pay my debt of gratitude in his presence.

園柳春深忽入簾 , 青絲拂帳影纖纖。梢藏鉤月濃情蘊 ; 葉舞庭階媚意添。
飛燕娛歡姿嬝娜 ; 觀音灑淨態莊嚴。雖無花樹天香色 , 卻得玉皇仙露霑。

Willow【By Charles Wu】
In late spring, the willow in our garden comes to my sight.
Its green narrow leaves cast shadows to my bed by moonlight.
The new moon hides at its tip which shows an amorous look.
It is dancing in my courtyard with a charming outlook.
Its gesture is so graceful that it plays like an actor.
Mercy Goddess picks its branch to water her follower.
Unlike the blossom tree, it does not grow fragrant flower.
It condenses dew drops which are gifts from sky emperor.

The lake reflects the spirit of inspiration,
For it is misty and the calmness genuine.
The beauty scenes are fascinating.
The lake view is brilliant; the dragon-flies enjoy the green.
While the sun dances with water's rippling on its way setting,
Above the misty field of waving, some egrets fly crossing.
Very pleased to have visited with and share the land of amaze.
The beauties of scenery are worth composing poems to praise.

Music is harmonious in my chrysanthemum garden.
Under the tree, I sing joyfully but none will listen.
Like a scholar, I talk about politics boldly.
In the website, I chant poems elegantly.
When practicing calligraphy, my brush moves like dragon.
It swims as fish and runs as rabbit being beaten.
The king position with great wealth is not my aim.
A recluse in Jin Dynasty, I wish to be the same.
